The power of community!

During the Innovation Day, teams of enterprising young people (4-5 people) are given the opportunity to offer their own solution to a real social or business problem or challenge. During the teamwork, in addition to developing creative thinking and problem-solving skills, they also gain practical experience and authentic, up-to-date information, supported by volunteers who come from business and are recognized experts in their own fields. During the whole day of work, company experts shape and support the students in developing their ideas with advice, information and an entrepreneurial approach. This day is not only a special meeting between students and representatives of the business sphere, but also a competition where students receive feedback on the results of their work from renowned experts and can receive valuable prizes. The maximum number of participants in the program is 100 people at a time, which is organized several times during the year.

Previous outstanding ideas

Root Pi

With our project, we want to improve the food supply of the people of Szeged. We would develop organic farming that would work together with the people of Szeged. We offer them good quality, sustainably sourced organic vegetables, which they can get at a discount if they deposit their household raw material waste (which many people would just throw away) with us.

Wasted money

Meals are provided based on daily surveys of employees and the remaining food is distributed among social care workers who deliver it to people who need it.
Developing a strategy in which excess food is minimized from the first step and the remaining food is sent to a place where it will definitely be used through the local government with the help of the social/home care network.

Green Nine

In order to avoid overproduction, we send a questionnaire to employees every week, in which they can indicate which day they require meals and the company can plan ahead with the procurement of raw materials. We would procure the supplies from producers and companies close to the company headquarters, thus supporting the Hungarian economy and emerging young entrepreneurs. We consider environmental awareness to be our main task. This is also reflected in storage and the reuse of leftover food.

Worktual

By creating enterprise-level platforms, involving startups, and using virtual reality, we are building a system where people can temporarily replace physical presence from the comfort of their homes. We provide universal usability for workers.

ByCycle

We want to encourage people to use environmentally friendly transportation. Many people do not dare to leave home and go to the city by bike, on the one hand it helps to get started for timid cyclists, on the other hand it makes it easier for experienced individuals to travel. The application offers several routes, takes into account road traffic, accidents and road hazards. It reduces the likelihood of accidents and makes cyclists more confident.

Holotech

Our company would create an interface like Teams or Classroom, but our idea would use holographic technology. The person speaking would not be visible through the camera, but on a hologram. When purchasing the application, we would send each customer a device that can project the hologram. So, for their money, the customer would receive an application and a hologram projector. This device can not only project, but also fulfills the role of a camera.
